Francesca Fioravanti is a soprano from Wilmington, Delaware. She has sung both solo and ensemble performances in the United States and Europe.

Francesca began her graduate education in Classical Vocal Performance at NYU in 2021, where she has been studied with Jamilyn Manning-White. Throughout her second semester, she performed in operatic scenes from Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflöte, and Le Nozze di Figaro. 

Francesca performed with the Vienna Summer Music Festival in Vienna, Austria in 2022 where she sang the role of the Baker/Beggar in the European premiere of Paul Richard’s Mondo Novo. She has covered the roles of Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro.

In December 2022, Francesca made her NYU Opera debut as Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. She also performed in the ensemble as well as covered the role of Ilia in NYU’s 2023 Spring production of Mozart’s Idomeneo.

Francesca performed the role of Morgana in Handel’s Alcina in Tarnowskie Góry, Poland at the Handel Opera Academy in July 2023. In the Fall, she performed the role of Christine Daaé in the Delaware Ardensingers’ production of Pantos of the Opera. 

Francesca has been featured in the chorus of OperaDelaware’s productions of Puccini’s Turandot and La Bohème as well as in Derrick Wang’s world premiere of Fearless.

Francesca has attended the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival in 2024 where she performed the role of Meg March in the musical, Little Women. She will return in Summer 2025 to perform the role of Anne Egerman in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music.

Beginning in the Fall of 2025, Francesca will begin a post-graduate degree at the Royal Irish Academy of Music for a Recital Artist Diploma where she will study with Sylvia O’Brien.

Francesca graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westminster Choir College with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. She is a certified K-12 music educator in the state of New Jersey. Beyond music, Francesca’s passions include traveling, exploring history, reading literature, enjoying art, and spending time with her cats.
